The three phrases that make for a better world: May I?…Thank You…Forgive Me.
“I never said half of what I said” was a statement by Yogi Berra, hall of fame catcher from the New York Yankees who is celebrating his 90th birthday. His sayings, his laugh, just the mention of his name brings a smile to anyone who hears.
Something like what happens when people hear or see our Holy Father, Pope Francis. He just brings light to the world. And that is where we find ‘hope’.
Yesterday at his Wednesday audience, he mentioned the three phrases that make for a better world: May I?…Thank You…Forgive Me.
The use of these words brings light and hope. Pope Francis said that love happens best in the little things. I guess he remembered what Mother Teresa used to say, “The world doesn’t need a lot of big things done, but it needs little things done well.”
We can do that!!!!
