Spiritual Reflection

The one person who knows you better than you is God and He said at your Baptism, “No one is more important to me than you.” Then we spend the rest of our lives trying to prove that to ourselves and others. We even conclude that we must do something special in order to justify our importance.

God never said, at our Baptism, all the conditions that have to be met to prove how important we are to HIM.

Since God doesn’t have a plan B, let’s just be the best that we can be and be assured that God loves you no matter what happens.

I try to remember that you don’t have to be perfect to be wonderful. In a crazy mixed-up world, sometimes you just have to create your own sunshine.

Of all the billions of people in the history of the world, there is only one YOU. You are God’s gift and when you are yourself you are Extraordinary in Ordinary Times!
