St. Vincent DePaul changed the country of France and so influenced the whole world with his love and care for the poor.
Greetings from Colorado!!!!
We are in the midst of our Mission/Cruise for 2018 and today is a very special day as we celebrate the feast of St. Vincent DePaul.
It is just so hard to capture the magnificence of this Saint. He literally changed the country of France and so influenced the whole world with his love and care for the poor. The St. Vincent DePaul Society has followed his mission faithfully and the poor have been served.
Other “Vincentians” have done likewise. Praise God.
Our Mission/Cruise will travel today to Pueblo Colorado to celebrate Mass in Vincent’s honor at a Shrine to The Blessed Mother. Vincent had a special love for Our Lady so this trip will be very meaningful.
Fr. Dick was instrumental in the building of this shrine so it is especially significant.
Our best tribute to Vincent DePaul would be that we just try hard to be people who Genuinely Care for others.
Don’t forget our next Mission/Cruise is to Alaska in August of 2019.
