Simply a Good Man
Tomorrow is the feast day of St. Joseph. So little is said in the Bible about such an important person! Yet that’s probably the way he would have wanted it.
Here was a man to be the husband of the Mother of Jesus as well as His father and it seemed he wanted to be in the background of a wonderful documentary. Here was a man who in the picture was just a carpenter who probably enjoyed his son being in the shop with him.
What I love most about him and what is so inspiring is that he just wanted to do what God wanted. And his love for his wife and child never ceased because of his answer to God’s wishes.
He loved listening to the angels sent by God to direct him in caring for the Holy Family. He protected them from so many dangers.
My take from his life and the challenge is to often be someone who does God’s work and not caring about being noted for it. “Evangelize and Exit”
