M.J. Cornelius
It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that our former secretary and administrative assistant for the Vincentian Parish Mission Center has died. M.J. Cornelius has now received her reward with entrance into heaven.
M.J., as everyone knew her, was truly a follower of St. Vincent de Paul and was such an important part of our parish mission work. She worked with us for over 20 years and with her simplicity, humility and charity the Parish Mission Ministry was more than successful.
As we mourn her passing we thank God for the gift she was. She was a breath of fresh air at 2100 North Noland Road in Independence, MO. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for the Fathers.
As we pray for the peaceful repose of her soul, we ask you to join us as we also pray for her family. Losing a loved one is never easy, but when you realize what a gift she was, the sorrow is easier to bear. M.J. will always live on as the parish mission work continues. We were blessed to have M.J. with us for all those years!
