Fr. Dick’s Spiritual Reflection–07/21/2021
THANK YOU…THANK YOU…THANK YOU!!!
Twenty-five years ago, Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman recorded a hit song that is still very popular today. It is called “TIME TO SAY GOODBYE” and was sung as a farewell to a Professional Boxer who was retiring.
Today, we sadly have to say goodbye to Fr. Michael Mulhearn, CM. Fr. Mike has been on our Vincentian Parish Mission team for over 30 years. He has had Vincentian assignments at two of our Vincentian parishes as well as on the faculty of St. John’s High School Seminary in Kansas City. For the past couple of years, even though Fr. Mike wasn’t conducting parish missions, he was Superior of our Vincentian Residence at the Mission Center and made sure everything was done to provide support for the work of parish missions. We will surely miss him.
Fr. Mike has been assigned to our Vincentian Residence in St. Louis. He will be a great addition to that house and will be available to help wherever possible. We thank him for his love, dedication, and talent. May God Bless him in this new assignment.
