Life Is Not Fair…
Life is not fair. Bad things do happen and sometimes they happen to really good people. For example, soldiers get killed, friends get cancer and family members have to deal with Alzheimer’s that take over their loved ones.
But as Rev. Robert Schuller used to say…”But God is good.” He gives us hope. He loves us no matter what we do. He forgives us. He gives Himself to us especially in the Eucharist. And He reminds us that negative feelings will take the life out of us.
So, the problems, the sufferings will continue…and so will God’s love for us. His presence will be among us. We will be His voice, His love and His compassion.
Life is not fair…But God is good.
