Ever Been To Finland?
Just read the annual survey from Gallop Polling on which is the happiest country in the world. For the fourth year in a row it is Finland. Iceland was second, Denmark third, Switzerland fourth, Netherlands fifth and The United States was 14th. Good news, we used to be 18th!
The underlying reason Finland was first again was the quality and value of MUTUAL TRUST. They were evaluated on so many different factors and this Trust was at the heart of whatever they faced from the Pandemic to economic and social problems. How interesting.
This value of Trust is what Jesus relied on from his disciples and from you and me today. Once we can fully Trust in the Lord, it is so much easier to trust each other. I thought that it must have been very difficult for Disciples to put their trust in Jesus. Just as it is for us today in the midst of the suffering and difficulty we face. But when we do, happiness follows!
