Run For The Roses
It’s already the first week of May and we know what that means….the Kentucky Derby in Louisville. Three of the things Kentucky is famous for are Win, Place and Show. Hope you pick a winner.
If you get the roses, save one for the real winner this weekend….MOM! This weekend is Mother’s Day. And a rose for her would be such a nice idea. Maybe you give one to her or place one on her grave or just say a few prayers for her. Many years ago, I presented this idea that Mom should give gifts to her children on Mother’s Day. Kids loved the idea until they heard they should give gifts to Mom and Dad on their own birthday. I gave up on that idea….so just make the day special for Mom this weekend. Hope you get the roses!
