We all have Talents….
Last Sunday evening many people watched on TV the 95th Anniversary of the OSCARS. Awards were given for exceptional talent displayed in movies. It brought to mind all those in our world who have never received an award. Yet they were surely exceptional in their reaching out and helping others. Those who help in food pantries and soup kitchens or at homeless shelters or the angels who visit residents of nursing homes are deserving but their humility keeps them hidden. We thank you and are so blessed there are people like you.
I’m also reminded that this coming Friday you will be celebrating but probably not at a Lenten fish fry. It is St. Pat’s Day! So enjoy your corned beef and cabbage. Enjoy your family and friends. And always know and appreciate how blessed we are.
