What Do You See?
Perception sometimes becomes reality for people. It is only when can truly focus on what we SEE that we then can evangelize others in the spirit of truth. For example, in the picture with this reflection, what did you focus on: water, mountains, clouds, blue sky or the 22 mile long glacier? Depending on what you saw and focused on, you would share with others. There is so much in nature and creation that we would have little difficulty evangelizing on the beauty, power and grandeur of GOD. That is our challenge.
The next time you are focused on the beauty of creation: the full moon, sunrise or sunset, the ocean, the mountains, the squirrel or rabbit in your backyard, or just a sky filled with stars, stop and realize you are experiencing a holy moment. Those moments that the saints talk about in their reflections and mediations. You can’t help but praise the good God who gives these to us. I must be more thankful for all the wonders and beauty of creation.
