On The Road Again
Great news from the Mission Center. Frs. Bob, Dick and Bill are on the road again. We begin a new mission season after waiting a year. There are some 25 parish missions scheduled from now to next Easter. We are so grateful for this.
A couple of weeks ago, prior to the 50th Anniversary celebration here in Leawood, KS at the mission center, we held our annual lay board meeting. Frs. Bob and Dick presented a report on their meeting with the Provincial of the Midwest Province and his assistant provincial. Frs. Pat McDevitt and Tom Esselman announced at the meeting that the goal of the five year Apostolic plan of the province will highlight the Vincentian Parish Mission program and make it a major work of the province. We are very grateful for this plan.
